The People’s Gallery project is building Four Corners’ Archive collection and opening up its history to new audiences.
We are carrying out new research into socially engaged film and photographic work produced in East London in the 1970s and 1980s, drawing connections between past and present and supporting community collaborations.
Between 2024 – 2026 we are:
- interviewing early members of Four Corners and the Half Moon Photography Workshop
- collecting and digitising new material for Four Corners’ Archive collection
- offering two, year-long paid Archive internships alongside volunteering and placement opportunities
- working with participants to create short films inspired by the Archive
- curating a lively exhibition and events programme
Further details will be announced through our website, social media and newsletter.
