We're delighted to present a selection of works from our Into Focus project, showcasing an exhibition of experimental photography.

This intergenerational project enabled younger and older Tower Hamlets residents to attend photo-walks and portrait studio workshops to produce traditional black and white prints from photographic negatives in Four Corners Darkroom. In addition, prints were made from a variety of cameras sponsored by Lomography and pin hole cameras, made using drinks tins. The project was supported by artist Sarah Ainslie.

Into Focus

Into Focus (2019-2023) is an intergenerational photography programme, FREE for Tower Hamlets residents aged 14-25 and over 50. The programme consists of seven 12-week projects, supporting 84 local people to foster positive connection across age groups.
