Fiona Yaron-Field

Fiona Yaron-Field is an artist and arts psychotherapist, her research interests include the role of photography in the process of Individuation. A Jungian term which describes the process of becoming more fully oneself. Fiona's work focuses on the intimate and the ordinary.  At the heart of the work is an exploration of relationship, both the relationship to ourselves and to the ‘other’. And a belief that through deeply personal material we can transcend our own story to comment and reflect on wider social and cultural issues.

Artist Statement

After The Bloom

I am drawn to materials that are clearly vulnerable, materials effected by the movement of time. In this process of maturation, when vibrance has faded and the bloom has passed. Once again, I find myself taken by surprise at the force of the unconscious to speak in metaphor of an inner process I would rather ignore.
